These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aircons Cape Town website and the air conditioning services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Aircons Cape Town is based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, and provides air conditioning installation, repair, servicing, and regas services across the Western Cape, South Africa.
1. Services We Provide
We offer the following services to residential and commercial customers across the Western Cape:
- Aircon installation (wall splits, cassettes, ducted, floor standing, portable)
- Aircon repairs and fault diagnosis
- Aircon servicing and maintenance
- Regas and refrigerant recharge
- Commercial air conditioning solutions
- Emergency callouts
We service and install all major brands including Alliance, Comfee, Daikin, Jet-Air, LG, Midea, and Samsung.
2. Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are provided in writing (email or WhatsApp) before work begins
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Prices quoted are for labour and materials as described in the quote
- Any additional work required beyond the original quote will be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding
- Installation quotes are separate from the unit price — units are sold separately from installation labour
3. Appointments and Access
- You must provide safe and reasonable access to the aircon unit(s) and the work area
- An adult (18+) must be present at the premises during the appointment
- If we cannot access the property or the unit at the agreed time, a callout fee may apply
- We will notify you in advance if we are running late or need to reschedule
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We accept EFT, cash, and card payments
- For large installations, a deposit may be required before work begins — this will be stated in the quote
- Overdue payments may incur interest at the maximum rate permitted under South African law
5. Warranties
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion. If a fault develops due to our installation or repair work within this period, we will return and fix it at no charge. This does not cover:
- Manufacturer defects — these are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by brand and component
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, power surges, or third-party interference
- Normal wear and tear
- Issues arising from lack of maintenance (e.g. blocked filters, dirty coils)

6. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the unit, the problem, and the property
- Ensure the work area is safe and accessible
- Inform us of any existing issues, modifications, or previous repairs on the unit
- Obtain any required body corporate or landlord approval before installation
- Maintain the unit according to manufacturer guidelines after installation
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Aircons Cape Town shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services, including but not limited to loss of income, business interruption, or damage to property not directly caused by our negligence.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
8. Cancellations
- You may cancel an appointment by notifying us at least 24 hours in advance
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a callout fee
- If we need to cancel, we will reschedule at the earliest mutually convenient time at no extra cost
9. Website Use
- You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only
- You must not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems
- All content on this website (text, images, logos, product information) is the property of Aircons Cape Town or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission
- Product specifications and prices are subject to change without notice
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, power outages, supplier failures, civil unrest, or government restrictions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the Western Cape, South Africa.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
